How fresh is this grizzly bear scat?

While tracking grizzly bears during filming of the BBC’s Expedition Wolf last month on the British Columbia coast we came across a female and cub near a river – I saw her disappear over the ridge ahead of me and then found this on the trail……always a thrill to find fresh bear sign, but it’s not always as fresh as THIS!

Grizzly bears are really important seed-dispersers – not only so plants can extend their range, but clearly for littler critters to benefit from too!<div><br></div><div>Chris<br><div><br><div><div></div></div></div></div></body></html>
